The Working Holiday visa and the specified work

There is no doubt that the Working Holiday Visa is one of the most popular visa for young people. Many people come to Australia with this visa for the first time.
You can enjoy Australia while travelling and working, even study for a limited period of time.

The visa lasts 12 months, but can be renew for another 2 years (1+1).
In fact, if the Working holiday visa holder, during the first 12 months, engages in specified work , he/she can be eligible to apply for the second Working Holiday Visa and the third. (You need to keep record of the work you do, for example: payslips)

Please keep in mind that to be eligible for the second and third Working Holiday Visa you still need to satisfy the same age requirement of the first working holiday visa.

How does it work?

To apply for the second working holiday visa the applicant must carry out a minimum of 88 days of specified work.
To apply for the third working holiday visa the applicant must carry out a minimum of 179 days of specified work
