News from the Department of Home Affair for NSW

 
New South Wales is the centre of interest for the latest news released from the Department of Home Affair.
New occupation were included in the skilled occupation list of the State following the patter and model of  the State of Victoria. 
In fact 4 target sectors were introduced rather that putting a focus on the single occupation. 
 
These 4 sectors consist of:

The new list is relevant for the following visa:
– State Nomination Visa 190 (Permanent Residency)
491 (Regional)
 
To be apply for 190 you must: 
 
1. Be invited based on the Point Score
2. Waiting for the invitation that can be done any day during the financial year 
3. Prepared to an highly competitive process
 

To be apply for 491 you must: 

1. Be invited 
2. Register your interest during a submission window ( for 2021-22 financial year are the months of August, October, January and March)
 
As for Today, the waiting period of these visas are: 
 
– subclass 190: from 12 months up to 18 months 
– subclass 491 regional: from 10 months up to 13 months
